Athens has a high concentration of beautiful parks for one city. Dudley Park is a favorite; it features a historic railroad track suspended in the air with its rotting woodwork and tangled tree vines, and the park’s small vicinity is planned around the Oconnee river. It’s a great place for a morning workout, an afternoon picnic or an evening photo op.
