A sun saturated portrait of one of the best people I have and will ever meet. His expression is a perfect representation of him: understated, goofy and adorably sweet. Nothing is better than portraits that freeze a moment of happiness.

The Botanical Gardens has a very impressive and well-kept indoor greenhouse with tropical plants, butterflies and fruit trees. North Georgia has so many beautiful hiking locations. This photo was taken during an afternoon trail walk in Ellijay just before the leaves began to turn. All of the flora and fauna was in its last bursting green stage before the cold weather set in, making for an absolutely gorgeous September hike.
