(Sahar in the botanical house in Parc Ciutadella)
During my trip I was lucky enough to spend 4 days in Barcelona with my friend Sahar! The city had such a rich culture that we had so much fun discovering. We explored everything on foot: the trendy neighborhoods of Gràcia, the beachy Barceloneta, the medieval Gothic Quarter, some of Antonio Gaudi’s marvelous structures, a few parks, and so many tiny cafés! Here are some of my favorite pictures.
(Window in the botanical house)
(Arch at the entrance to the Ciutadella)
(Light fixture in the streets of the Gothic Quarter)
(View through city gates overlooking the Barcelona slope)
(An example of the beautiful warm-toned stucco all around Barcelona)
(View from inside a building in Gaudi’s Park Guell)
(Overlooking Barcelona from Park Guell. Our view stretched all the way to the sea.)
(Fancy building we stumbled across)
(*Another* gorgeous stucco wall)
(The majesty of the Sagrada Familia)
(Incredible blue sky, as seen from my plane window)
I hope I get to go back to this beautiful city one day.
